George Lucas Museum Proposal Rejected in San Francisco

The seven member board of the Presidio Trust, a group that stewards a portion of land overlooking the San Francisco bay, has voted unanimously to deny a museum proposal from George Lucas. The “Star Wars” creator had pledged $700 million to build and endow the facility, which would have housed items from his own collection of popular art, including pieces by Norman Rockwell and Maxfield Parrish.

California Egg Law Is Met With Opposition

California has proposed a law set for 2015 that will regulate more stringent guidelines regarding the treatment of chickens. In order for farmers to qualify for selling eggs, space requirements must be met as well as other conditions such as not confining hens to cages. Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster has recently challenged this law and taken his concerns to the federal level.

Not only is he known for the skills he possesses on the track, he is also the son of Dale Earnhardt, the man who left a legacy on racing that will never be forgotten. Bill Nye Vs. Ken Ham: Who Won the Debate?

Bill Nye, beloved 90′s “Science Guy”, defended the theory of Evolution against Ken Ham and the theory of Creationism last night for two and a half hours. Neither one left persuaded to the other side.
The debate took place at Ham’s Creation Museum where there are displays of some thought-provoking evidence to refute the theory of Evolution in favor of the Bible’s Creation story.

LAPD Manhunt: Officers Acted “Out of Policy”

It has finally been decided that eight officers involved in last year’s botched manhunt for former cop, Christopher Dorner, acted “out of policy” when they fired on a truck they believed to be the suspect, according to the AP. It actually contained two women who were delivering newspapers early that morning.
