Frozen Soundtrack Still No.1 on Billboard Charts

Disney’s Oscar-nominated, massively popular “Frozen” soundtrack is still the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 94,000 copies last week, for a total of four weeks now spent at the top position. (Number 2 belongs to the “2014 Grammy Nominees” compilation album.) This is huge for the animated film, as the last soundtrack to spend four weeks at the top was 2003′s “Bad Boys II.”

It is with much regret that we relay the Associated Press’s report that Maxine Kumin, Pulitzer Prize winner and onetime poetry consultant to the Library of Congress has died at the age of 88.
Born Maxine Winokur in Philadelphia, PA on June 6, 1925, Kumin was a committed writer and lover of nature who consistently supported the women writer population. She also worked tirelessly to advocate social justice and animal rights.
