Unless you plan on beginning your House of Cards binge while at work today, it’s probably best you stay off Twitter. You might want to be careful on Facebook, too–depending on how much you trust your friends. Today, and the days to come, could be a spoiler minefield.
As you may know, Netflix dropped the entire second season of the Kevin Spacey-led political drama House of Cards today. It’s all there–ready for you to stream, in its entirety. It’s just sitting there. It wants to watch it. It needs you to watch it. Sorry y’all, I’m just really excited.

‘The Evil Within’ Launches on August 26

Though the indie market has propped up the survival horror genre in recent years, large publishers have all but abandoned scares in favor of action. Survival horror will get another shot at the mainstream this year, though, through Bethesda’s The Evil Within.
Bethesda today announced that The Evil Within will hit stores in North America on August 26 (August 29 in Europe). The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

Valentine’s Day Google Doodle Shares Love Stories From Real People

Google’s Valentine’s Day doodle for the U.S. is unlike any other Doodle the company has offered before. The search engine has offered interactive doodles many times, but this one presents a series of candy hearts, each telling a different love story.
“For Valentine’s Day, as people everywhere search for love – something a search engine might not be the ideal tool for – each of these candy hearts brings you a true story of love,” a voice tells you when you click on one. “These are real people.”
After that initial click, you can click on each one to listen.

Romeoville Shooting Suspects Questioned

Romeoville police released two of four people they were questioning Thursday evening in relation to the shooting of a mother and daughter that morning.
Romeoville Police Chief Mark Turvey said the four people being questioned range in age from their late teens to their early 20s.
A 23-year-old man and another man remained in police custody and no charges have been filed.

Tupac Shakur Biopic To Be Directed By John Singleton

No, it wasn’t just a rumor: there really will be a biopic of rapper Tupac Shakur. What makes it more real now is that it finally has a producer by the name of John Singleton, who is best known for his directorial debut “Boyz N The Hood,” released in 1991. Singleton will not only produce, but rewrite and direct the biopic as well.
