Tennessee Bombing: Son-In-Law Charged

The son-in-law of the Tennessee couple who was killed by a mail bomb has been charged with their murder, investigators announced today.
Police arrested 49-year-old Richard Parker on two counts of felony first-degree murder and two counts of felony premeditated murder in connection with the deaths of John Setzer, 74, and Marion Setzer, 72.

Come on, Google. You’ve gotta do something about this Knowledge Graph situation. I’m all for quick easy knowledge, and believe it or not, I’m a fan of the concept behind the Knowledge Graph, but the execution just isn’t ready for primetime despite being at the center of it for going on two years.
It’s one thing to briefly show users vandalized information from Wikipedia (and I think “briefly” is a generous word in this case), but when you’re showing erroneous information for businesses for weeks (at least), that’s not going to sit well.

Seattle Mammoth Tusk Discovered At Construction Site

Experts from the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture claim that a recently discovered mammoth tusk might be the largest found in the entire Seattle area. The tusk, which is also believed to have come from an Ice Age mammoth, was unearthed by several construction workers conducting an excavation in the Lake Union area of Seattle.
