Anne Frank Literature: 265 Books Destroyed in Tokyo

Since January, a vandal has been making their rounds, ripping pages out of Anne Frank books in libraries across Tokyo, Japan.
Police investigators have counted a total of 265 damaged books.
One of the most renowned, historical books of the Holocaust victim includes The Diary of a Young Girl, which details a firsthand account of Anne Frank’s experience.
Evidence has shown that dozen of pages were ripped out of the book. Investigators believe that the books may have been searched in the librarian database.

Mumps Outbreak Spreading Through Fordham University

Officials suspect that the illness that has already spread to 13 people resemble the same symptoms as the mumps. Nothing has been confirmed as yet, however, whatever it is, it’s spreading to other sections of the college from which it originated.
Fordham University in the Bronx is working to contain the outbreak as one new case was reported Thursday at the Midtown location, and four more new cases at Rose Hill, and the school’s Lincoln Center Campus,

Garrick Utley: Former NBC TV Correspondent Dies at 74

One of the most legendary broadcast news correspondents has passed away from prostate cancer.
Garrick Utley was 74-years-old when he died in his New York home Thursday night.  He’s been battling the illness for two years.
In a very extensive interview with Utley’s wife Gertje, 40, she described to CNN News some of his most memorable moments as a traditional journalist.

The Fantastic Four Reboot Makes Controversial Casting Decisions

It’s official…almost: the Fantastic Four reboot came closer to finalizing the cast this week. Previous reports revealed that Michael B. Jordan plans to play the Human Torch/ Johnny Storm. In Feb, several actors screen tested for the other three major roles. Among those actors and actresses were Kate Mara, Emmy Rossum, and Miles Teller.

Lisa Kudrow Testifies Against Former Manager

Lisa Kudrow testified on Thursday against a former manager who handled her affairs during her days as a Friends star. Scott Howard claims the actress owes him 5 percent of her earnings between 1991 and 2007. Howard filed the suit against Kudrow back in 2008 and the case has been making its way through several courts.
