Levine wanted to share his struggle to encourage others going through it to seek help. The disease, often characterized by hyperactivity, impulsiveness, inability to focus, and a short attention span, reportedly affects about 3% to 5% of children and adults in the United States.

Texas Independence Day Celebrated

Thousands gathered at the Washington-on-the-Bravos Historic Site Saturday to celebrate Texas Independence Day.
On March 2, 1836, 59 delegates signed the Texas Declaration of Independence at Independence Hall on the the 293-acre site, and declared the state’s sovereignty from Mexico. A replica of the building currently stands on the park, whose slogan reads “where Texas became Texas,” and is open to visitors.

Cate Blanchett is not a lock to win Best Actress at tonight’s 86th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. However, the Australian actress has been picking up trophies left and right including a Golden Globe, virtually every critic award, an Independent Spirit Award, and the Screen Actor’s Guild Award.

I-25 Pileup in Denver Injures 30, Kills One

A vehicle pileup occurred on Interstate 25 in Denver, Colo., Saturday.
The multiple-crash was first reported at 10:50 a.m. The Colorado Department of Transportation has determined that the 104-vehicle pileup involved two separate accidents.
The northbound interstate was closed for nearly five hours while traffic was at a standstill for at least a mile long.
